Here's how it works: Everyone meets at the hostel. Headphones go on. The group walks to the city's most iconic monument, stopping for up to 30 minutes of dancing (or less if we're asked to move on). Then walking back to the hostel where the party continues.

  Silent = no noise permits

  All music is on headphones. Zero external sound. No noise complaints, no noise ordinances, no amplification permits required in any country.

  Walking = not an assembly

  We stop for a dance, then move on. Every tour group in Europe does this. We're not occupying space, we're passing through it.

  No tickets sold on-site = no commercial activity

  No commercial permits needed. Public gathering laws across Europe are significantly more lenient for non-commercial events.
